Md. police search for Pizza Hut robber

CHARLES COUNTY, Md. (WUSA9) -- Deputies are searching for a suspect involved in the robbery of an employee of a Pizza Hut that happened March 19, in Waldorf.

Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the identity of the suspect involved in the robbery that happened at 9:50 a.m. at the Pizza Hut in the 3200 block of Crain Highway.

Authorities said a man went up to an employee who was leaving the restaurant with a bank deposit bag. The suspect pulled out a gun and demanded the bag. Authorities said the victim gave him the bag and fled.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late twenties. He is about 6 feet 1 inch tall and has a medium build. Authorities said he was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, and a black ski mask at the time of the incident.
