Md. HS teacher admits to texting student inappropriately

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A Lanham high school teacher admitted to texting a 16-year-old student inappropriately and is accused of touching the victim, according to Prince George's County police. 

Doney Olivieri, 66, of SE, D.C., who is a teacher at DuVal High School was arrested on Monday and is being charged with sexual solicitation of a minor, fourth degree sexual offense and second degree assault. 

Olivieri admitted to texting the student inappropriately between June and September of this year. He is also accused of touching the student on the chest in a classroom back in September. 

A family member of the victim contacted police on October 8.
