ANNAPOLIS, MD (WUSA9) - Maryland community colleges are welcoming the displaced ITT Technical Institute students after it ceased operations September 6, according to a news release sent out Tuesday.
ITT Tech said the closures are due to an investigation and sanctions by the U.S. Department of Education.
Area community colleges will be opening their doors to the more than 600 students displaced.
