WUSA9 visits Oxon High School band

The Clippers are getting ready to play the Raiders.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD. (WUSA9) - Sheehy StormTracker 9 visited Oxon Hill High School on Thursday morning.

Its Instrumental Music Department and its Instrumental Music Booster Association (IMBA) is a 501c3 program. It not only ensures all students are able to participate in a meaningful experience, but they give back to our community as well.

This week, the music department will host its annual Senior Citizen Concert where they will feed 300 seniors a fine dinner (free) and render a great concert with giveaways!

They usually host a few vendors who are there for the expressed purpose of providing our seniors with literature/information on maintaining good health.  This event is the brainchild and heart string of the Music Director, Mr. Harley who lost his mother to Alzheimer disease.

Those seeking to donate can do so by visiting ohhsinstrumentalmusic.com and clicking on the "Ways to Give" tab; then by clicking on "Instrumental Sponsorship".  They will find the "DONATE" button at the bottom of the page.
