Teen charged as adult in Md. stabbing

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WUSA9) -- A Maryland teenager is being charged as an adult after a stabbing that seriously injured a 17-year-old in Annapolis.

Seventeen-year-old Brandon Hardy of Annapolis was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure.

Another 17-year-old is in stable condition at Baltimore Shock Trauma after allegedly being stabbed in the chest by Hardy. Police say at 12:10 a.m. on June 16 in the 700 block of Newtowne Dr.

Hardy is being held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
