Teen arrested for breaking into more than 30 cars

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- An 18-year-old has been arrested for breaking into more than 30 vehicles and stealing from their owners.

At approximately 2:31 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 8000 block of Long Branch Terrace in Glen Burnie, Md. for the report of several suspects tampering with vehicles in the parking.

An officer located an individual who matched the suspect description in the area of the 8000 block of Green Orchard Road. The suspect, identified as Travis Wayne Crow of Baltimore, Md., consented to a search and handed over his book bag to officials.

While searching the bag, an officer located a large amount of loose U.S. coins, a radar detector, two car keys, and a phone car charger, along with other items that appeared to have come from various vehicles.

A witness later identified Crowe as the person observed entering a neighbor's vehicle. A few victims were later located and their belongings were returned. Further investigation revealed that the suspect broke into over 30 vehicles. The investigation is ongoing. Crowe was charged with the following criminal charges:
