Suspects sought in Md. house invasion

JESSUP, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for suspects in connection with a house invasion that happened in Jessup, Md. on Friday evening.

Deputies responded to the 2000 block of Citrus Ave. in Jessup on Friday around 5:30 p.m. for the report of a home invasion.

Police said deputies spoke with an 18-year-old who was approached by two men in the hallway of his residence. The victim was held at gunpoint, while one of the suspects searched his house.

According to authorities the suspects did not hurt the victim and did not take anything from the house. They fled the scene in a blue Honda.

Deputies were not able to find the suspects.

Police are searching for a white man in his late twenties, with an orange beard. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans at the time of the invasion.

The second suspect is being described as a white man, also in his late twenties. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
