Suspect wanted in Md. 7-Eleven robbery

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) Police are searching for a man in connection with a robbery that happened at a 7-Eleven store in Glen Burnie on Saturday morning.

Police said deputies responded to the 7-Eleven located at 7753 Baltimore and Annapolis Blvd. in Glen Burnie. Deputies spoke with a 32-year-old woman who was inside the store trying to buy something when a man approached her.

Authorities said the victim and suspect got into a physical confrontation. Police said the man took a package of cigarettes, two debit cards and cash from the woman's pockets.

According to police, the suspect fled the scene in a white two door Pontiac Grand Prix.

Deputies were not able to find the suspect. The victim did not have any serious injuries, authorities said.

The suspect is being described as a black man, with a heavy build and a chin strap beard. He is between 5 feet ten inches and 6 feet tall. He weighs around 230 to 240 pounds.

He was wearing a grey t-shirt, black jean shorts and black shoes at the time of the incident.
