Suspect sought in 2 Md. bank robberies

WHITEFORD, Md. (WUSA9) -- Maryland State Police Department is looking for a suspect or suspects in connection with two bank robberies that happened in two days in the Harford County area.

Police said a white man, between the ages of 25 and 35 went into the PNC bank on June 10, in the 2400 block of Whiteford Road, in Whiteford, Md.

According to authorities, the man gave a bank employee a note demanding money. The suspect did not say whether or not he had a weapon. He left the bank with the money, police said.

Two days later, on June 12, the same man or a man with the same description went into the National Bank of Rising Sun in the 3500 block of Conowingo Road, in Street, Md. Police said he handed a note to the bank employee again and demanded money.
