Suspect shoots at man, hits Md. house

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County Police are looking for a man they say sot at a man walking in a neighborhood but missed and hit a house.

The incident happened shortly before 10 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Secluded Post Circle in Glen Burnie.

Police say a man who was visiting family was walking in the 7900 block of Gentle Breeze Court when he was approached on foot by a man armed with a handgun. The victim ran towards Secluded Post Circle while being chased by the armed man. The armed man then fired multiple shots at the victim.

According to police, a bullet traveled several hundred feet across the street and went through the front window of an occupied home on Secluded Post Circle. The round lodged into an interior wall approximately four feet above someone sleeping in the home.

Police have released a suspect and suspect vehicle based on witnesses' descriptions.

Witnesses say they heard at least three to four gun shots and saw a mid-2000's two-tone black and grey Chevrolet Avalanche with chrome wheels occupied by two Black males leave the area. They also saw a Black male in his mid 20's, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build, medium length dreads, and dark complexion, walking in the 7900 block of Gentle Breeze Ct. minutes before the shots were fired, say police.
