St. Mary's Sheriff seek theft suspects

CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. (WUSA9) -- The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's help in locating three suspects involved in a theft scheme.

Officials say it happened at the Tru-Value Hardware store located on Triangle Drive in Charlotte Hall, Md. On June 26, the male suspect got out of a silver van, entered the store and, after placing merchandise under his clothing, left without paying.

A white female, who appears to be pregnant, entered the store 20 minutes later to return the stolen items for cash, according to officials. She was seen getting into the same silver van as the male suspect.

On June 27, the same male suspect entered the Tru-Value store and stole merchandise, officials say. Several hours later, a second white female returned to the store in a red Ford Expedition and attempted to return the items for cash.
