Prince George's Co. bus aide indicted for abusing children

A Prince George's County school bus aide has been indicted on charges of child abuse, assault and sex crimes.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD. (WUSA9) - A Prince George’s County school bus aide who is accused of molesting two vulnerable preschoolers has been indicted, officials said.

Michael Patopie has been indicted on charges of child abuse, assault and sex crimes.

Prosecutors said Patopie was on a bus last November carrying children home from James Ryder Randall Elementary in Clinton. They said he molested two special-needs students, a four-year-old and a five-year-old.
