Police working at Md. restaurant to benefit Special Olympics

GERMANTOWN, MD. (AP) - Police officers from various Maryland agencies are working at a Red Robin restaurant in order to benefit Special Olympics Maryland.

Officers are working at a Red Robin in Germantown from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. During the event, tips collected by law enforcement officers will go to Special Olympics Maryland.

Agencies that will have officers working at the restaurant include the Montgomery County Police Department, the Chevy Chase Village Police Department, the Rockville City Police Department and the Maryland-National Capital Park Police Montgomery County Division.
