Police seek suspect in multiple bomb threats

FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Frederick County police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a person of interest in multiple bomb threats.

The woman is described by police as a white female, approximately 20-30 years old, standing 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches, with long dark hair and an average build.

The threats were aimed at the Frederick County Courthouse on Feb. 21. The first bomb threat was received at approximately 8:15 a.m. in Parole and Probation, police. The threat was non-specific and employees continued working inside the courthouse while the Sheriff's Office with the assistance of Frederick Police Department and an ATF K-9 Unit cleared the building.

At approximately 9:45 a.m. the building was reopened to the public. At approximately 10:50 a.m. a second non-specific bomb threat was received in the District Court Clerk's Office while law enforcement personnel and FCBI investigators were still on the scene. The courthouse remained open after the second bomb threat.
