Police search for Md. Dollar General robber

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police responded to the report of a robbery that happened Saturday morning at a Dollar General in Glen Burnie, Md.

Police said the incident happened around 9:54 a.m. at the store located at 7463 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd.

According to authorities, a 29-year-old victim from Glen Burnie said the suspect entered the the office and displayed a silver revolver, while demanding money.

The suspect then fled the scene. Nobody was injured, police said.

Deputies searched the area, however were not able to find the suspect.

The man is described as a black man in his mid twenties. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with black pants and a red and black Chicago Blackhawks hat at the time of the robbery.
