Police look for suspect in Md. store shooting

FERNDALE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County Police are looking for a man involved in a shooting that happened at the Royal Farms store located in Ferndale early Saturday morning.

Police said the incident happened at 1:12 a.m. in the 7200 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.

When deputies got to the scene they found a 20-year-old man from Severn suffering from multiple gun shot wounds, authorities said.

According to the investigation the victim and suspect got into an argument and the victim was then shot.

Police said the suspect is described as a black man. He fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. Deputies searched the area, however had no luck finding him.

The 20-year-old victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. Authorities said the victim's injuries are non-life threatening at the time.

Authorities think this was a targeted incident.
