Police find vehicle of missing Md. pregnant teacher

OLNEY, MD (WUSA9) - The vehicle of the missing pregnant teacher has been located at an apartment complex in Columbia, but police she she is still missing.

Officials are still searching for 31-year-old Laura Elizabeth Wallen of Olney, Maryland who went missing on Monday. Her car was located on Thursday in the 10600 block of Gramercy Place in Columbia. It was unoccupied. 

Wallen's family member last recieved a text from her on Monday, but have been unable to contact her since. Police believe she was driving a black 2011 Ford Escape with Maryland tags. 

Wallen is described as a white female, 5-feet-5-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. Police say she is four months pregnant. She teaches social studies at Wilde Lake High School in Columbia, Md.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Laura Elizabeth Wallen is urged to call the 24-hour police non-emergency line at 301-279-8000.
