Police: 25 ATM thefts in past year, $10,000 reward

PALMER PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County police are offering a $10,000 in connection with a string of ATM thefts in the county.

Police say they have had more than 25 cases since June 2013 of suspects stealing an ATM. Police say they are aggressively working to stop the trend.

There will be a news conference at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say three suspects tried to steal an ATM from a gas station on Kenilworth Avenue Monday morning.
