Police: 2 suspects wanted in PG gang attack

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County police are seeking the public's help in finding two suspects who are wanted for attempted murder.

The suspects are identified by police as 18-year-old Susan Yamileth Hernandez, of the 12000 block of Jefferson Road in Fort Washington, Md., and 23-year-old Ever Barahona, of the 9800 block of Main Street in Fairfax, Va.

On May 6, police say they were called to the 3300 block of Brinkley Road in Temple Hills at 10:50 p.m. for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police found two injured men, one suffering from multiple stab wounds, the other from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Investigators have learned the assault was gang-related, and they believe Hernandez and Barahona lured the victims to the location, with the intention of killing them.

The victims were taken to a local hospital. Both have since recovered and been released from the hospital, police say.

Hernandez and Barahona face charges of attempted first degree murder.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either suspect is urged to call the Prince George's County Police Department's Regional Investigation Division-Southern Region at (301) 749-5064.
