Papa John's delivery driver robbed at gunpoint

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) – Anne Arundel County police are investigating an armed robbery involving a Papa John's pizza delivery driver.

Officials were called to the Papa John's restaurant located along 8000 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie, Md.

Officials say the 23-year-old victim told officers that he was sitting in his vehicle after making a delivery to the 400 block of West Court in Glen Burnie when his car was approached by a male suspect who pointed a handgun at him and demanded money.

The driver turned over money to a second suspect, police say. Both suspects then fled south on West court on foot. Officials say several officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspects.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male in his 20s, about 6-foot-2, 150 pounds, who has a full beard, tattoos on his right arm and a gold upper tooth.

Police describe the second suspect as a black male in his late teens, about 5-foot-8, 200 pounds, with a gap between his top middle two front teeth, having short hair, wearing a black tee shirt and blue jeans.
