Home surveillance videos caught a package thief.

CAMP SPRINGS, MD. - A package thief was caught on camera on Camp Springs, Md.

In a video taken by home surveillance cameras, the thief drove up to a home on Westridge Place on November 15. The thief opened his car trunk before walking up to the front porch and helping himself to a package left at front of the door. He then put the package in his trunk and drove away.

Prince George’s County police warns homeowners to be mindful of package thieves during the busy holiday season. They encourage people to pick up items in-store, have packages shipped to their workplaces, ask neighbors or friends if they’re available to receive packages at their homes, or require a signature at the time of delivery.
