BEL AIR, MD. (AP) - Authorities aren't releasing notes found in the Maryland home of a man who they say killed his wife before driving to the Washington suburbs, where he killed his 19-year-old son and himself.
The Baltimore Sun reports the Harford County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that it won't discuss the contents of the notes left behind in the deaths of 57-year-old Nasir Siddique and his family, citing the ongoing investigation.
Deputies found Siddique's wife, 48-year-old Zarqa Siddique, fatally shot Sept. 29 in the family's Bel Air home. Prince George's County police discovered Nasir Siddique and his son, Farhad, fatally shot in a vehicle parked near the University of Maryland campus, where Farhad attended school.
Police said Nasir Siddique killed his wife, then drove to College Park to shoot Farhad and himself.
