Md. warns drivers to watch for icy conditions

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) said they will keep a core team of crews in overnight to manage trouble spots and continue clean up along state routes.

Authorities said even though crews have salted roads, there is a high chance that drivers will encounter ice with the freezing temperatures.

Drivers are reminded to be very careful. For Tuesday morning, travelers should again plan ahead for potential delays due to icy conditions, authorities said.
