Md. sheriffs search for Waldorf robbery suspect

CHARLES COUNTY, Md. (WUSA9) -- Charles County Sheriff's detectives are looking for a robbery suspect who attacked a man and grabbed a bank deposit bag from the victim on January 30 in Waldorf, Md.

The victim, an employee of a local business was walking toward a bank in the 3200 block of Crain Highway, when the man in the sketch assaulted him and grabbed the bank deposit bag he was carrying, authorities said.

The suspect ran away and the victim called police. Detectives were able to get a photo from a nearby surveillance camera, authorities said.

Sgt. D. Stahl, a forensic artist, sketched the suspect based on the victim's description, authorities said.

The suspect is being described as a black man with a light complexion and had a thin mustache at the time, authorities added.

The suspect weighs about 150 pounds and was wearing a black jacket, a gray hoodie, dark pants, and teal or turquoise colored shoes.
