Md. Police: Trooper stops man from jumping from bridge

CECIL COUNTY, Md. (WUSA9) -- A Maryland State Trooper stopped a man from jumping off the Tydings Bridge in Cecil County and caught it all on camera, Maryland State Police said.

A Maryland State Trooper from JFK Barrack spotted a man walking southbound on the bridge Saturday, authorities said.

The trooper stopped to check on the man, who then started to climb over the wall of the bridge. Police said, the trooper ran out of his vehicle and grabbed the man before he could jump.
