Md. police seek 35-year-old in robbery

FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Frederick Police Department is looking for a 35-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery that happened at an Exxon gas station in Frederick, Md. on Friday.

Police responded to 400 South Jefferson Street for a strong armed robbery around 9:35 p.m. The suspect robbed the cashier at the store, left the store and ran to the parking lot, police said.

The suspect drove off in a late model, red Ford Mustang and was seen going on the 15 North ramp.

He is being described as a white man, around 35-years-old, 6 feet tall, and weighs around 200 pounds. The man has a brown receding hair line, a beard, glasses and was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and a white plastic bag draped over his shoulder at the time of the incident.
