Md. police search for man in sexual assault

FERNDALE, Md. (WUSA9) -- The Anne Arundel County Police Department is looking for a man in connection with a sexual assault/ rape incident that happened Thursday morning in Ferndale, Md.

Police said a woman was sexually assaulted at 4 a.m. in the 100 block of Oakleigh Avenue. According to the victim, she was walking when she got offered a ride by a white man who said his name was "Glen."

The man pulled over to an area in the 100 block of Oakleigh Street once she was in the car and sexually assaulted her, police said. The man pushed the woman out of the car once the assault was over, according to authorities.

Police said the suspect "Glen" is being described as a white man between the ages of 20-30. He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall, has a medium build and short brown hair.

The vehicle is a newer model black Volkwagon GTI with four doors and a hatchback. It has dark tinted windows, chrome wheel with possible red brake pads, and the VW logo on the front has a red trim, police said.
