MD Police investigate possible drive-by shooting

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (WUSA9) -- Maryland State Police are investigating a report of a drive-by shooting.

Sometime between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday an unknown person or persons used a large caliber handgun to shoot through the front door of a residence in the 20000 block of Jefferson Boulevard in Hagerstown, police said.

The homeowner is an elderly person and the motive for the shooting is unknown.
