Md. man ID'd and wanted in house burglary

JESSUP, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County Police Department is searching for a 23-year-old Baltimore man in connection with a house burglary that happened on July 23 in Jessup, Md.

Police said, Rasean M Aldridge, 23, of 730 Templecliff Road, Baltimore, Md. is wanted for first and third degree burglary and theft 1,000 under 10,000.

According to authorities, the burglary happened around 11:05 a.m. in the 2800 block of Jessup Road in Jessup, Md.

The victim told police, he was getting in from work and heard noise coming from upstairs in his house. Police said, the victim went outside of his home and contacted police. Aldridge then walked outside of the front door with a bag full of the victim's jewelry and personal items, police said.

Police said, there was a short altercation in front of the house and then Aldridge got into his car and drove off. The victim followed the suspect, police said. The suspect then collided into the victim's vehicle on Laurel Fort Meade Road, according to authorities.

Police said, the victim got photos of the victim after the cars collided. The suspect fled the scene.

According to police, the suspect was driving a rental car. Police were able to identify Aldridge based off of the information and photos that were taken of him.
