Md. man faces attempted murder after stabbing

BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- A 27-year-old Maryland man faces attempted murder charges after a stabbing in Anne Arundel County.

Police say Alfatair Lamar Henry, of 1412 Strawflower Road Apt. D., in Essex, Md, has been charged with first and second degree assault, attempted second degree murder, use of a weapon in a violent, felony crime, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

Henry is alleged to have stabbed a 28-year-old man from Severn, Md., in the 500 block of Wood Street in Brookyn Park on April 22 at 6:32 p.m., police say. Henry is also alleged to have discharged a firearm at the victim.
