Md. man awaiting sentencing, charged for groping

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WUSA9) -- Howard County Police Department said Monday, a serial groper, awaiting sentencing has been charged with another groping incident.

Police said, Jeremy Kaho Ng, 27, of Ellicott City pleaded guilty to several groping incidents and was charged with another incident that happened at a Target store last week.

Ng is being charged with second-degree assault, stalking and fourth-degree sex offense.

Police said he was convicted in Howard County District Court on July 15 on three counts of fourth-degree sex offense in connection with three incidents that happened in 2013.

His sentencing was scheduled for August 8.

Police said, on July 17, Ng followed a woman around in a Target store located in the 6100 block of Dobbin Road, in Columbia, Md. and then grabbed her buttocks. According to authorities, Ng was spotted close to her vehicle and ended up following her as she left the parking lot.

Police said he turned himself in on July 19.

Ng is currently being held in the Howard County Detention Center on a $175,000 bond, police said.

In the past, Ng has touched women in a Columbia apartment parking lot, a Best Buy parking lot and in a parking lot at a mall in Columbia.

Police urge anyone who may have experienced similar incidents since January 2014 to contact police at 410-313-STOP.
