Md. man arrested for stabbing victim

FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- A twenty-eight-year-old man was arrested for slashing his victim with a knife during a fight that happened Friday.

The stabbing happened in the 400 block of W. 7th St, Frederick Police Department said. The victim was in the parking lot of the Frederick Memorial Hospital when the suspect went up to him, police said.

The two men started fighting and the suspect slashed the victim with a knife, according to authorities. The victim had minor injuries and was treated for them at the hospital, police said.

The suspect, Daniel Crepin Dragon, 28, of Frederick Md. turned himself in Saturday evening, authorities said. Earlier, the suspect's family and friends had been contacted by police regarding the incident, police said.

Dragon is being charged with first and second degree assault and reckless endangerment, police said.
