Md. man arrested for attempting to run over woman, police say

WALDORF, MD. (WUSA9) - A man who tried to run over a woman after a minor car accident has been arrested, Charles County police say.

According to police, Maryland resident Andre Thomas Crew, 27, sideswiped 24-year-old Jazmine Shanae Davis’s car on November 29 while northbound on Route 301 in Waldorf. Both Crew and Davis stopped their cars following the accident. Davis then exited hers and attempted to take a photo of Crew’s license plate.

That’s when Crew accelerated and attempted to hit Davis, who managed to jump on the hood of Crew’s car to avoid being hit.
