Md. High School put on lockdown due to threat

WINFIELD, Md. (WUSA9) -- Public School Officials say South Caroll High School was put on lockdown Thursday afternoon after they received a telephone call reporting an anonymous non-specific threat to school.

Deputies responded to the high school and are currently investigating the incident.

At this time, no injuries have been reported and students are expected to be released after the elementary and middle school bus routes have been completed.
