Md. crash leaves 24-year-old man dead

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (WUSA9) -- The Maryland State Police are investigating a crash that left a 24-year-old man dead early Sunday morning in Hagerstown, Md.

Police said deputies responded to the crash at 5:41 a.m. at I-70 westbound on the exit 12 ramp to Big Pool Rd. Authorities said 24-year-old Joshua Zane Finney of Hancock, Md. was driving his 1999 Chevrolet S10 westbound on I-70 when he went off the roadway between I-70 and the exit 12 ramp to Big Pool Rd.

Finney lost control in the grass and hit a road sign before getting back on the road of the ramp, authorities said. The vehicle flipped over and landed on top of him, police said.

Authoritied said Finney was pronounced dead on the scene. Nobody else was injured in the crash.
