Man wearing Redskins cap wanted in 2 Md. bank robberies

FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (WUSA9) -- The Prince George's County Police Department is searching for a man sporting a Redskins cap in connection with possibly two bank robberies in Fort Washington and Camp Springs.

Police said the first robbery happened at a bank located in Camp Springs on May 29. Authorities said the second bank robbery happened Wednesday afternoon in Fort Washington.

Police said the suspect walked into a bank located in the 9400 block of Livingston Road on Wednesday around 2 p.m. The suspect went up to the counter and demanded money by passing a note.

Authorities said the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
