Man sought in Md. PNC Bank robbery

INDIANHEAD, Md. (WUSA9) -- Charles County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man in connection with a robbery that happened at a PNC Bank located in Indianhead, Md. Monday afternoon.

The robbery happened at the PNC bank located at 1 Prospect Drive around 4:50 p.m. Charles County Sheriff's Office stated.

The suspect walked into the bank, claimed to have a weapon and demanded money, the Sheriff's Office said.

The man fled the bank on foot. It is not clear whether or not the suspect got any money. The Sheriff's Office said the suspect fled towards Strauss Avenue.

The suspect is being described as a white man, 6 feet tall and has a thin build. He may be in his late thirties. The suspect was wearing a maroon plaid long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, a blue bandana, baseball cap, sunglasses, and white gloves at the time of the robbery.
