MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD. (WUSA9) - A man was robbed by three men with guns after they forced their way into his apartment late Thursday night, Montgomery County police said.
Around 11:30 p.m., the victim said he just gotten home to his apartment located in the 100 block of Teachers Way when he heard a knock at the door.
When he looked out the peephole, he saw an unknown Hispanic man that he believed was in distress, so he opened the door.
That's when the Hispanic man and two unknown black man forced their way into the victim's apartment.
The victim said all three suspects displayed handguns and started yelling and demanding property.
The victim told the the suspects to take whatever they wanted.
The suspects took the victim's wallet, laptop, cellphone, a long gun and a handgun.
All three suspects left the apartment and fled the scene in a 2004 to 2006 white Ford Crown Victoria with tinted windows and new MD War of 1812 tags. It also has a spotlight.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a chinstrap beard. He was wearing dark clothing.
The second suspect is described as a black man, 6-feet-2-inches tall, dark skinned with a short hair cut and a light beard. He was wearing dark clothing.
The third suspect is described as a black man. He was also wearing dark clothing.
Gaithersburg Police Department would like to remind residents walking in parking garages or secured buildings to make sure they're aware of who is around them, and not to allow unknown individuals to enter without proving they have access to the secured area.
