Driver, vehicle sought in Md. hit and run

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police are hoping the public can help locate the suspect and vehicle in a hit and run that seriously injured two bicyclists last month.

Officials say the vehicle was traveling on Central Avenue in Davidsonville at 5:09 p.m. on Feb. 22 when it struck two cyclists.

Police have identified the possible suspect vehicle as a light colored 1995 to 2001 Honda CR-V.

The vehicle should have right side damage, and is missing the right side mirror.

Police have also released a description of the suspected driver: a white male in his fifties with a gray mustache, wearing sunglasses.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Anne Arundel County Police Traffic Safety Section at (410) 222-8573. Metro Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the person responsible for the collision.
