Attempted rape suspect caught after running naked from victim's home

A man from Southeast DC is facing a slew of charges connected to the attempted rape of a woman in Prince George's County.

CAMP SPRINGS, MD. (WUSA9) - A man is facing a slew of charges connected to the attempted rape of a woman in Prince George's County.

Khary Edwards is accused of breaking into the victim's house and taking off with some of her property.

Police saw Edwards running naked from the victim's home in Camp Springs, late Saturday night. They eventually caught up with him and took him into custody.

Police said Edwards and the victim did not know each other.
