2 teens arrested in Md. burglaries

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WUSA9) -- Annapolis Police arrested two juveniles Sunday in connection with two separate burglaries that happened in Annapolis, Md.

The teenagers were arrested for separate burglaries, however were stopped together Sunday morning, police said.

One of the burglaries happened in the Kingsport community on August 15, between 4 and 5 a.m., authorities said. One of the suspects went into an open garage and stole money from a car parked inside.

On August 17 a teenager went into his neighbor's open garage and stole a bicycle, authorities said. The teen rode off on the bike, despite the neighbor confronting him, police said.

In the first burglary, authorities arrested a 16-year-old boy from Annapolis. He was charged with burglary, theft and rogue and vagabond, police said.

Police arrested another 16-year-old boy from Annapolis in connection with the second burglary, police said. He was charged with burglary and theft, according to authorities.
