2 suspects arrested in Md. sports store robbery

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County Police Department arrested two suspects in connection with a robbery that happened at Bart's Sports World in Glen Burnie early Wednesday morning. Authorities said, they are still looking for another suspect in connection with the robbery.

The robbery happened at Bart's Sports World located at 6814 Ritchie Hwy South in Glen Burnie around 1:43 a.m., police said.

Officers found one of the suspects in a 2008 Ford F15 pick-up truck upon their arrival, according to police. There were a total of three suspects in the vehicle, police said. The pick-up truck had been damaged from driving into the business where the weapons are stored in the showroom, police said.

Police did a traffic stop, however the vehicle did not stop. Officers pursued the truck into Baltimore City until the vehicle came to a stop in the 2500 block of Maemple Ln near Frederick, Ave.

The suspects ran out of the car and fled on foot, police said. Authorities were able to take two of the suspects into custody, authorities said. The third suspect got away.

Authorities found two scoped rifle with store sale tags on it, two laser sights with sales tags, and some marijuana in the back of the vehicle.

Officers learned later on that the vehicle the suspects were using had been stolen about 1.5 hours before the burglary. Police said, all of the stolen property was returned to the business.

Michael Quionte Wilson, 18 of Baltimore, Md. and Samone Lanair Elize Harrington, 18, of Baltimore, Md. were both arrested and charged with burglary related offenses, theft, auto theft, and CDS charges.
