2 men sought in PG County home invasion

KETTERING, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County Police Department is on the lookout for two men in connection with a home invasion that happened Tuesday night in the Kettering, Md. area.

Police said the two suspects forced themselves into the house and were armed with a handgun. According to authorities, on of the suspects whipped a woman with the gun. A little after that, police said the suspect was confronted by a man in the house.

According to police, the man was shot by one of the suspects. The victim has been taken to the hospital and has non-life threatening injuries.

One suspect is described as a black man, 5 feet 8 inches tall, heavyset and was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is being described as 6 feet 2 inches tall and was wearing a gray shirt and a ski mask at the time of the burglary.
