2 men claiming to be officers wanted for robbing Md. teens

SEVERNA PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County Police are looking for two suspects who claimed to be Federal officers in connection with robbing a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old in Severna Park, Md. early Saturday morning.

Police said the incident happened in the 500 block of Jumpers Hole Road in Severna Park around 3:32 a.m.

According to authorities, the two male victims were in their vehicle when they stopped in a neighborhood and were approached by the two suspects. Police said the two men pretended to be Federal officers and started searching the victims' vehicle.

Authorities said, a suspect took a cell phone and a wallet from the victim who was driving. According to police, the suspects then fled the scene in a gold Honda Accord.

Police said one of the the victims suffered minor injuries.

Police said, the suspects were caught on camera at a 7-Eleven in the vicinity.

The suspects are being described as two white men in their twenties.
