16-year-old arrested for Md. robberies

MILLERSVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection to a pair of Anne Arundel County robberies in late December.

Police say the juvenile from Glen Burnie, Md., who was 15-years-old at the time of the incidents, faces charges of robbery, first degree assault, second degree assault, and theft under $1,000 from both incidents.

The first occurred on Dec. 24 in the 8000 block Budding Branch Road in Glen Burnie when a 32-year-old suspect was assaulted and had his wallet stolen. The second incident, on Dec. 30, occurred in the 8200 block of Great Bend Road in Glen Burnie where are 89-year-old victim was assaulted and robbed of his wallet and cash.
