1 person dead in Md. hazmat situation

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- The Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to an apartment complex in Glen Burnie Tuesday afternoon for the report of a chemical odor in an apartment.

Authorities said, four people were inside of the apartment. One person was dead, and one was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

It is still unclear at this point what caused the chemical smell. It is also not clear what the chemical was, authorities said.
