Man injured in Chinatown stabbing

Bike delivery saved stabbing victim

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A man was transported to the hospital after a stabbing in Chinatown Thursday afternoon, Metropolitan police said. 

The stabbing happened around noon near the intersection of 7th and H Streets in NW, D.C., according to authorities. 

WMATA confirms that Gallery Place Metro entrance at 7th and H Streets is currently shutdown for the investigation. 

Police said a man was transported from the scene conscious and breathing.
