Man indicted for kidnapping Montgomery Co. judge

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA9) -- A 24-year-old man has been indicted for kidnapping a Montgomery County judge in May, according to the Prince George's County State's Attorney.

Twenty-four-year-old Rickley Senning is accused of assaulting Judge Audrey Creighton in her home on May 19 and then kidnapping her using her car. Officials say Judge Creighton was able to escape in a grocery store parking lot.

Police say that Judge Creighton and Rickley Senning were in a domestic relationship.

Officials say Senning left the scene and then crashed the car a short distance away. He fled to Florida after the kidnapping and was returned to Maryland in June to face charged.

In addition to the kidnapping charge, Senning was indicted for false imprisonment, three counts of second degree assault, reckless endangerment, theft, auto theft, driving under the influence and driving while impaired. He is in jail on a $500,000 bond.
