Man gropes woman walking in Northwest, DC, police say

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for a man who groped a woman in Northwest, D.C. Wednesday night. 

The assault happened in the 1600 block of 33rd Street around 8:15 p.m. Metropolitan police said the woman was walking when a man came up behind her and groper her. 

Police said the man ran south on 33rd Street and then west into the 3300 block of Dent Place in Northwest, D.C. 

The suspect is being described as a white man, between the ages of 20 and 30, standing 5'10" and with an average build. He was unshaven and had some facial hair. Police said the man was wearing a gray hoodie with black stripes and running shoes.
