Man convicted in Md. shooting rampage to be sentenced in killing of estranged wife

UPPER MARLBORO, MD. (AP) -  A former federal officer convicted in a two-day shooting rampage in Maryland is set to be sentenced in the killing of his estranged wife.

The Washington Post reports 64-year-old Eulalio Tordil pleaded guilty in June to fatally shooting Gladys Tordil last year.

He will also be sentenced Wednesday for shooting a good Samaritan who attempted to come to her aid and faces the possibility of life without parole.
